Nissan S14:

Latest run. K&N pod filter, New Mobil 1, New Castrol TAF-X synthetic transmission oil.

0-60 in 6.06s. Launched from 4,000 revs start.

Possibly lower transmission losses than before, especially in 1st gear. 160bhp at the wheels, roughly 180-190bhp in 3rd gear.
Following runs. Standard air filter, Mobil 1, 100,000 mile old gunk in gearbox.

Bit of wheelspin here in 1st getting traction, gear changes about 0.4s. Very high 3rd gear acceleration on this run. Never been able to repeat it.

Hit about 0.68g in first, wheelspin really obvious here, big dip in the accelleration curve. Negative accelleration blips on the gear changes too.

Here's acceleration vs speed, the wheelspin can be seen at about 10mph, probably not getting full traction again until 20mph.

A few runs here, top one done in the dry, bottom two in the wet.  These figures assume a vehicle weight of 1350kg , CdA=0.31 and rolling resistance is bugger all.

This plot shows power vs revs. Looks like I've been changing up early in the lower gears which is a bit silly. This run was done at -4°C.

Porsche 944 S2:

Two runs shown here, 2nd only just gets 60mph in this car before hitting the rev limit.

Acceleration vs speed

Distance vs Time

Power vs speed, nice to get a few gears in here

Nick's VW Polo.

0-60 in 14.7s, we never got to 100.

Acceleration vs time shows peak 0.45g in first gear and 0.4s gear changes

Let's give it a hefty 50bhp at the wheels ? Data after 2nd gear was too noisy to interpret.

A picture of this magnificent beast will appear soon.
